Eyes & Optics, established in 1991, is a private optometric practice in Farmington Hills, Michigan specializing in comprehensive family vision care. The philosophy of our office is to provide quality eye care to each and every patient. We combine today's modern technology with personal attention directed specifically to the needs of our patients. Dr. Roy Wilson opened Eyes & Optics over 30 years ago with his son Dr. Lucas Wilson joining him in 2020 bringing an emphasis on pediatric eye care and myopia management.

Dr. Roy A. Wilson

Optometrist

Roy A. Wilson, O.D., was raised in Redford Township and graduated from Thurston High School. He is a graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, in 1988.

 

Dr. Wilson was one of the first optometrists in Michigan to be board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease

Dr. Lucas J. Wilson

Pediatric Optometrist

Lucas J. Wilson, O.D., F.A.A.O was raised in Walled Lake, MI and graduated from Walled Lake Central High School. He studied at Michigan State University where he double majored in human biology and nutritional sciences while also competing on the water polo team. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2020. 

 

Dr. Lucas then completed a residency in pediatrics and infant vision at the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City. Dr. Lucas has a passion for pediatric eye care, strabismus, myopia management, learning related visual issues, and vision therapy.

Both of the doctors as well the front office staff are absolutely amazing. My entire family goes here and I hope we never have a reason to go anywhere else. The exams are thorough and the doctor explains everything along the way. I’m always seen promptly and never feel rushed during the appointment as I have at other places. The staff assisting with the selection of glasses are so friendly and helpful and never try to pressure you when it comes to the purchase decision.
